How to resell reputation management without creating a support nightmare

The service is not “a login.” It is a defined operating model: who configures requests, who monitors reviews, who responds, who supports the client, and what the agency promises.

Pick one of three delivery models

1. Managed service

Your agency owns setup, campaigns, monitoring, reporting, and often response coordination. Clients may never need a dashboard.

2. Client self-service

The client gets a branded portal and owns day-to-day operation. Your margin depends on low support burden and clean onboarding.

3. Hybrid

You configure the system and reporting while the client handles selected tasks such as responses or contact imports.

Software shortlist

Grade.us explicitly targets agencies and white-label review management. HighLevel becomes attractive when reputation management is part of a broader CRM/automation service and the agency wants sub-accounts or SaaS-style delivery. Vendasta fits agencies that want to resell a wider catalog of products.

Define the promise carefully

  • Do not guarantee a number of reviews or a star rating.
  • Do not promise Google rankings from reviews.
  • Do not offer incentives for reviews.
  • Document who owns messaging consent and compliance.
  • State whether review responses are included, approved, or client-managed.
  • Price support and onboarding labor, not just software cost.
